Grew up near here and the food here is what I compare all Mexican food to - you cannot beat it for the price, the food is excellent, and everyone who works there is lovely.
Have nothing but wonderful memories of eating here with my family every Sunday and it's exactly as we remember it whenever we go back. -

Wanted to find a place with authentic Mexican tacos and this did not disappoint. The tacos aren't greasy like the place down the street. The salsa tasted great and the price was inexpensive. I'll be back.

Really solid Mexican tacos with pretty authentic flavors. My favorites for the tacos were the lengua and al pastor. All the meat was juicy and had a ton of flavor. I had 5 tacos and felt stuffed (I tend to eat a lot). So go for around 3 - 4 tacos on average. Their red and green sauce are both phenomenal. Warning, the green sauce is real spicy! Has a ton of kick.

This place is great. Service top-notch and friendly. Food very tasty - chips & salsa are VERY good. Chips are above average, but the salsa served with them is A+. They give you your own little serving pitcher so you can refill for yourself. And it tastes great - just the right amount of tomato/jalapeno/cilantro/heat mix. I bought some to take home.
The reason for only 4 stars? I had the barbacoa and the meat was a little TOO fatty, & overall was too salty. The re-fried beans contain some "unsmashed" pinto beans, which is a great touch I have never seen before. I'm definitely going back to this place, only a 8-minute drive from mi casa. Bueno!! -

I've been coming to Los Pastores for the last 8 years. Hands down the best salsa around town that goes with their chips. I sometimes just mix a lil bit of their verde crema into the salsa and it takes it up a notch. All their tacos are so amazing! Soft and succulent all the time. Their Horchata is very good. Enchilada and burritos are really good. If breakfast is your thing you should definitely try this place if you're feeling a lil hungover from a night of too much drinking. They serve two different kinds of menudo and their breakfast burritos are huuuuuge.
